Do we need a tablet or a stylus?
You can explore this website on any screen. LegUp's learning app is designed around handwriting, so a tablet with a compatible stylus is the best place to practice writing. Some activities also work with touch or a keyboard; handwriting tasks are best tried on a tablet.
Can we download an Android app?
A dedicated Android app is planned and isn't available to download yet. You can use the current web app now. Supported browsers also offer installation to your home screen; follow the installation guidance inside LegUp.
Does the buddy just give away the answers?
LegUp is designed to help children work through a problem themselves. Replies about graded work are screened against the answer keys before delivery. Like any AI system, it can make mistakes; it isn't a replacement for a teacher or a grown-up.
Is the buddy on this page live AI?
No. These are guided, authored activities you can explore without an account. They don't contact an AI service or save learning progress. The signed-in learning app is a separate experience.
Where do we get started?
Open the LegUp web app and use its sign-in flow. Existing families can return to their account there. The app will guide new families through the available setup steps.
